DXZ Off-Road Light Test Records

Use these selected DXZ off-road light test records to review measured output, electrical input and beam-map settings before ordering samples. The tables cover report models 45C04, BF4-9 and BF3-A6, with each result tied to its own test date and method.

Start with the readings below, then use the DXZ off-road light range to shortlist the size, beam and order configuration you need.

Measured output from the integrating sphere

The integrating-sphere reports record luminous flux together with voltage, current, power and color temperature. Keeping those fields together gives your sample review a specific starting point.

Report model Test date Luminous flux Input voltage Current Power
45C04 2026-04-23 3047 lm 13.199 V 3.085 A 40.72 W
BF4-9 2026-03-10 2875 lm 13.099 V 3.675 A 48.15 W
BF3-A6 2026-03-10 1428 lm 13.099 V 1.453 A 19.03 W

Source: DXZ integrating-sphere reports for the model and date shown, page 1, photometric and electrical parameters. All three reports record 25.3°C and 65.0% relative humidity. Their recorded CCT values are 6201 K for 45C04, 6185 K for BF4-9 and 6543 K for BF3-A6.

These are dated sample measurements. Do not treat them as current production specifications or assume they are pair totals. Match the report configuration to your sample order before setting acceptance targets: active mode and lamp count are not separately labelled. BF3-A6 is the report label, without a sales-kit suffix.

For a 45C04 sample check, reference the 2026-04-23 sphere record and its 3047 lm at 40.72 W reading. Identify the lamp configuration on the sample order and agree the electrical condition to be used for the repeat test.

GO-HD results and their electrical conditions

The separate EVERFINE GO-HD reports record directional output and beam maps. The maximum intensity below comes from the report’s page 4 Max(cd) label; the road-plane peak comes from the page 1 map legend.

Report model Test date Maximum intensity Road-plane peak Input voltage Current / power
45C04 2026-05-05 90887.52 cd 170.9 lx 13.198 V 2.48 A / 32.69 W
BF4-9 2026-05-27 143601.83 cd 230.6 lx 13.198 V 3.60 A / 47.58 W
BF3-A6 2026-05-27 13289.78 cd 99.75 lx 13.198 V 1.47 A / 19.44 W

Keep the two test methods separate in your comparison sheet. For 45C04, the sphere record shows 40.72 W and the later GO-HD record shows 32.69 W. Each power value belongs with the optical result from that test. Combining the sphere lumens with the GO-HD power would create an efficacy figure that neither report gives.

Use the sphere record when reviewing total output. Use the GO-HD record when reviewing how the beam is distributed. The DXZ beam-map test method explains the report format and measurement process in more detail.

Compare beam maps at the same scale

The three GO-HD reports share a stated mount height of 1.000 m. Each also states a vertical scan from -10° to +5° and a horizontal scan from -30° to +30°, both in 5° steps. Their road-plane display areas differ:

Report model Road-plane display length Display width Contours shown
45C04 350.0 m 50.0 m 15, 5 and 1 lx
BF4-9 520.0 m 40.0 m 15, 5 and 1 lx
BF3-A6 200.0 m 40.0 m 15, 5 and 1 lx

Source: the same GO-HD reports, pages 1-2. Page 3 labels a 25.000 m photometric screen and separately states a 10.000 m test distance.

A map filling the same space on your screen can therefore represent a different physical area. Read its meter axes and lux legend before judging beam length or width. The display length is the boundary of the plotted area; it is not a claimed driving visibility distance. Likewise, keep the page 3 screen label separate from the stated test distance when arranging a repeat measurement.

For a useful comparison, ask for both beam maps on a common physical scale with the same contour levels. Then inspect the center and the surrounding coverage at the positions relevant to your installation. A single maximum value cannot show that distribution, and these reports’ partial angular scans do not describe a full-sphere distribution.

Turn a report record into a sample check

Before you set a numerical acceptance target, agree which configuration the sample and report describe. Include the exact order SKU, main-light mode, DRL state, lens or cover, and whether the test uses one lamp or an assembled pair.

Then agree the repeat conditions: supply voltage measured at the lamp, warm-up or stabilization procedure, mounting and aim, measurement distance, instrument and measurement points. For a beam-map comparison, include the plotted area and contour levels as well. This keeps the sample review tied to the output you need to assess.

Your comparison sheet can keep one row per test, using the model label, date, method, voltage, current, power and optical result. Put a later repeat measurement on a new row so that its conditions remain visible. Keep the current sales specification alongside the test record as a separate reference.

If you are shortlisting the 45C04 spot light pair or the BF4-9 spot light kit, send the product SKU together with the report model and date above. That gives the sample discussion an exact reference without assuming that a sales-kit label defines the laboratory setup.

Contact DXZ for a model-specific sample review. Include your shortlist, intended mounting position, operating voltage and the configuration you want to test. Reference the report date and the result you want to reproduce, whether that is total flux or coverage on a beam map.
